NAPRA Launches Its New Website

The National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) is pleased to announce the launch of its newly redesigned bilingual website. With its updated visual style, thoughtfully considered content and streamlined navigation for faster access to essential information, NAPRA’s revamped website delivers a fresh experience to both returning and new visitors.

Expertly developed for a seamless user experience, the NAPRA website features an adaptive design that supports browsing across all devices. As part of NAPRA’s commitment to provide equal access to the widest possible audience, the new website also offers an accessibility feature that allows users to select display options that best suit their needs.

Attention has been given to improving the functionality of various aspects of the website. To highlight but a few of the improvements introduced:

  • Pharmacy professionals and other stakeholders consulting the National Drug Schedules (NDS) are now able to conduct a more precise search of the drug listings, with newly introduced options to search by keyword and more.
  • NAPRA publications – model standards, competency profiles, guidance documents, and other resources which NAPRA develops for the benefit of its member organizations – have been brought together in one organized collection and can be filtered by document type and/or date or searched by keyword.
  • Similarly, website visitors can view NAPRA news items by update type or via a keyword search. We take this opportunity to remind readers that they can subscribe to receive NAPRA updates of interest directly in their inbox. These include general news and updates, updates related to the NDS and/or updates on practice resources.

We trust the new NAPRA website will serve our users’ needs better than ever. As we continue to improve usability and access for all, we look forward to receiving questions, suggestions, or comments at info@napra.ca.
